“Medstreaming OBL really helped me with the entire information management from start to finish. Using its comprehensive modules we got everything in one place from patient registration, PM, EMR, PACS, billing, registry integration and data analytics, which allow us to do our lab management very efficiently.”

“Medstreaming RCM services enabled us to reduce our billing cycle of 90 days to less than three weeks. Medstreaming integrated comprehensive system allows visibility of all aspects of the process to all team members as promised.”

Medstreaming has been transformational and a game changer for us, Dr. Chopra said. We have three centers and six clinics in different locations across the city, all of which are managed through Medstreaming over the cloud. We see all the data and information of all of our centers and clinics in one enterprise software “Medstreaming”. This helps us behave as a sophisticated efficient organization and remain cost effective. It is our core workflow platform and enables the entire team to work cohesively from the front-end (patient registration, practice management), clinical EMR, PACS and image management, and Revenue cycle Management (coding, billing, accounts receivable) all the way to advanced, analytics, reporting and Dashboarding. We can track the entire patient experience through our organization effectively and efficiently.

Choosing Medstreaming was the right decision. There are several EMR companies in the market, each with its own focus, but none as comprehensive that enables a small organization like ours to compete with gigantic hospitals and health systems. Medstreaming’s vision for its software platform aligned well with MIMIT’s vision.

Running MIMIT Revenue Cycle Management and billing with Medstreaming enabled us to reduce the billing cycle of 90 days to less than three weeks. We have an internal RCM team but all the coding and billing is done within Medstreaming software by Medstreaming staff. The integrated comprehensive system allows visibility of all aspects of the process to all team members as required. We went from an average billing cycle of over 90 days to within three weeks once billing and RCM was moved to Medstreaming.

We are hosting our Medstreaming system in the cloud and it is accessible via mobile devices. In our day to day lives, everything we do (banking, etc.) is in the cloud and accessible via mobile devices. There was a time when we had our own servers and data center - those days are gone. We have realized that being in the cloud is safer and cost effective. With Medstreaming hosted on Amazon cloud (with redundant backups over three or four data centers in different continents) it’s more cost-efficient and incredibly safe and we can access our software on our mobile devices.

Software support from Medstreaming has been outstanding as we went through the installation process, they customized everything for us and were accessible 24/7 even after go-live. The entire team was very pleased that support was always available since we were installing and integrating a very complex system replacing multiple older systems: from practice management, ultrasound, vascular lab, PACS, EMR, billing and revenue cycle management. Each module has its own dedicated support team and we have had the promised 99.99% uptime.

The future of the OBL is very promising, the major debate in healthcare today pertains to cost and there is such a tremendous amount of waste everywhere. Everybody knows it, and it seems nobody knows how to fix it or just doesn’t want to! We are addicted to wanting things better, faster and cheaper, in all aspects of our lives. Development of new technologies focuses on adding value to the customer and containing costs; except in healthcare ! The OBL is an environment where we are providing high quality, very cost-effectively with high patient satisfaction. Done right consistently, this well grow. There is a lot of interest from physicians who want to remain independent and the OBL provides the opportunity to make an impact in what we do as physicians - provide cost-effective, high quality, state of the art patient care.
