Wakefield, MA, February 15, 2017 – Picis Envision is pleased to announce the “go live” of their first Canadian client, The University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI). UOHI is Canada’s largest and foremost heart health center, dedicated to understanding, treating and preventing heart disease; caring for more than 100,000 patients a year.
“The University of Ottawa Heart Institute is pleased to be working with the Picis Envision Analytics team in the development of dashboards that provide clinical, efficiency, financial and safety metrics to support decision making” commented Pam Bush, Clinical Director of Informatics of UOHI.
Picis Envision analytics software provides healthcare operators a robust platform to easily view and analyze their data in a format that is directed at simplifying data mining within a hospital organization. Our system connects directly to the hospital’s HIS system, captures all the relevant data and transforms it into interactive, actionable dashboards. Our dashboards provide healthcare organizations the ability to drill down to the deepest level of their data to ensure efficiency, boost optimization and increase interoperability.
With this new implementation Bush said “These metrics will allow leaders to better understand peri procedure processes and facilitate the identification of areas for improvement. We can establish objectives, and measure our progress using Picis Envision. The product is very intuitive, with easy to use drill down features when additional detail is required, and roll ups if an overview is required. I look forward to working with Picis Envision as we finalize the content of this powerful tool.”
Picis Envision is singularly focused on changing the relationship customers have with their data. The ultimate goal is to empower customers to understand their systems by providing them with data that gives them insight into the health of their operations.
“The UOHI implementation is a key milestone for Picis Envision. We believe this go live will provide our Canadian clients with a clear understanding of the impact Picis Envision can have in improving efficiencies within their organizations. We look forward to many more implementations of this impactful product across North America” said Marcus Perez, Executive Vice President of Picis.
